Compared with the published fee of a legacy provider for a full-time teacher in a school (permanent in NSW, the standard teacher rate in Victoria), checked on 1 October 2026. Where a provider does not publish a yearly price, we compare its regular payments over a year with our fortnightly price over a year. Some providers charge less for early career or temporary teachers. Savings are rounded down. Our price is read from our current price list. Fees change, so check the provider's own schedule.

FAQs
Common questions about joining
All teachers, including senior teachers, heads of department and executive principals, can join. Membership fees do not differ based on your role, only on the number of hours you work a fortnight. Teaching assistants and other school and education employees can join as affiliates, with the same support services as members.
Your RUSH subscription includes membership to TPAA and your state-based association, legal funding for eligible workplace matters, and administrative support to TPAA and your state-based entity. Your TPAA and state membership includes Professional Indemnity, Enterprise Bargaining, workplace support and campaign and policy advocacy, with optional add-ons.
Yes. Your tax invoice/statement is emailed following each payment and can be downloaded from the billing portal in your member dashboard.
No. Your membership fees go towards running member services.
We are unable to accept resignations over the phone because we cannot verify your identity, so your resignation must be in writing. Head to your member dashboard, complete the membership change request form and one of our friendly staff will help process your cancellation.
